The steamer Newby Hall sailed yesterday afternoon for Sydney -to discharge the rest of her New York cargo. The Breeze left last night fur Wanganui via ports. The Kairanga is to leave Wellington this evening for Dunedin direct, where she. is duo on Saturday to load lor Timaru, Lyttelton, and Auckland. The Ivanna was to leave Lyttelton this afternoon for Dunedin. She is due to-morrow, and is to sail in the aftcrnooh for Greymouth. The .Tvaitnna, at Greymouth and 'Westport at the end of this week for Bluff and Dunedin, thence Port Craig and Wellington. The Waikouaiti was to sail this afternoon for Timaru and Lyttelton to finish discharging her Australian cargo. She. will withdraw at Lyttelton for survey.

Under charter to tho Atlantic Union Oil Company, the new Norwegian motor tanker Banja is expected to leave Los Angeles shortly with a full cargo ot motor spirit for Wellington, Sydney, and Melbourne. This will he the company’s first shipment of oil to arrive in New Zealand. TONG A R IRQ FROM HOME.
