APPEAL BY ARCHBISHOPS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 2. The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in conjunction with thp leaders of the free churches, are appealing for the religious observance of Empire Day. Tlxey are inviting the clergy and ministers of all churches at home and abroad specially to refer to our own people overseas in their sermons on May 20, and offer prayers that the British race may hoar Christian witness.—Australian Press AssociationUnited Sendee.
