OTAGO HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

A meeting of the executive was held on Tuesihiv. A welcome was extended to Mr LimDny, the delegate appointed by the Stale' Schools’ Sports Association, An appeal from the Albany Club against tho result of its second grade match on Saturday last was received. The appeal was on the ground that the referee, after awarding a goal, reversed his decision and awarded a free hit to the defending team. The captain of the Albany team did nob appear, and as the referee stated that he bad not awarded a goal the appeal was dismissed. Mr A. Hinton’s resignation from the executive through absence from town during the remainder of the season was accepted with regret. Mr J. Harris was appointed to fill the vacancy, and was also appointed convener of the Match Committee.
