ELTHAM, May 2. Hearing of a case of alleged libel, 6. V P Fitzgerald versus Blundell Brothers,’ Limited, and the New Zealand Dairyman/ took plac© in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Mr Tate, S.M. . , KT PI; Intiff is the manager of the New Zealand Co-operative Rennet Company, rennet manufacturers, Elthara. He claims £250 damages against the defendants jointly and severally ns printers and publishers in respect to certain statements contained in the issue of the ‘Dairyman’ of February 20, 1928, alleging inferiority of standard in the company’s product in comparison with that produced by overseas competitors, and lack of scientific knowledge and facilities by plaintiff. The case occupied all day, and decision was reserved.
