Mrs Macarthur beat Miss Bickcrton, 6-4, 8-6; Miss Akhurst beat Miss Heine, 6-2, 6-4; Miss Akhurst and Mrs Ohara Wood beat Mrs Neave and Mrs Macarthur, 1-6, 6-1, 6-3; Misses Peacock and Heine beat Misses Boyd and Bickerton. 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 At Port Elizabeth Landry beat Richardson. 6-2, 8-6; Brugnon and Boussus beat Eaglestone and Davies, 6-3, 4-6, 14-12; Landry and Boussus met Richardson and Davies, the score being 8-6, 1-6, 3-3.
