Bray Bros., Ltd., Dunedin, report as follows for week ended to-day : The chaff market is bare of supplies, and up to £0 15s per ton (sacks extra), ex truck, for good quality is being obtained. The demand is small, and, with increased supplies, the market is likely lo ease. The oat market is unsettled. The market firmed up for a few days, but has eased again. A Cartons arc worth 3s on trucks, and 15 Cartons 2s 9d, country stations. The quantity of oats offering is on the small side, but is sufficient for the demand. The wheat market is steady. Most of the wheat now being delivered has been sold forward. The current market value is 5s Gd, on trucks, for Tuscans, and 5s 9d for Hunter’s (sacks extra). Supplies of fowl wheat are increasing, and sales are now' more difficult. The present value for best quality is round about Cs, ox truck. Tile North Island are drawing their requirements from Canterbury. Dunedin millers’ prices arc as follows :

Flour.—2oo’s, £l7 10s: 100’s, £.IS 10s; 50’s, £lB ss; 25’s, £lO ss. Bran. £7. Pollard, £8 10s. Oatmeal.—2s’s, £2l; 200’s, £2O. The potato market is keeping steady. There is a fair demand for first-class linos, which are selling round about £G 10s per ton. The onion market is easy. Largo quantities have come forward from Canterbury, and some first-class lines are now ottering round about £S IQs per ton. Pickling onions arc also in full supply, and some good samples are offering at 8s per <;wt. Business in the fruit marts has been fair during the week. Large supplies of apples arc still corning forward from the Nelson district, ami prices are low. Grapes arc also offering in fair quantities, and sales arc steady. Peaches are now about finished. The pear market is well supplied. Bananas and oranges have been short supple and prices high. Tomatoes are still coming forward in fair quantities, and prices arc low. Supplies of plums have, nowcased off. and the market is firmer. Quinces have made their appearance on Hie market. Blackberries are still coming forward. Vegetables are in full supply. Cabbage and cauliflower are low in price. Vegetable marrows are offering freely at 7s per cwt. The egg market is firm, and all coming forward are rapidly placed. Cheese and butter arc in good supply, and hams and bacon are offering freely. Some fine samples of honey arc coming forward, and this is offering at 5d lb tn 0011) tins, which is a low- price. There is an inquiry for beeswax and dairy pat butter._ The following prices were realised during the week:— Section honey, 9s Gd. Cucumbers. 5s Gd. 7s Gd; outside, 3s 6d, ss. ■ Carrots, Ss ewt.
