MALICIOUS POISONING.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l am forced to write the (allowing through the number of cases 1 have come in contact with. Within the last few days no less than six cats have died, and several are sick. What person can be so contemptible as to lay bait for poor harmless tails. J Hips he none of his own or has he no icelings? And does he derive any satisfaction from tho knowledge that his neighbors have lost their pets? In a certain neighborhood or South Dunedin there is this mean-spirited act being perpetrated. If the person doing this dastardly work reads this, will ho imagine himself contorted in pain caused through deadly strychnine, and then let his conscience prick him?—.l am, etc,, 1.1 vmaxe.
