NEW YORK, February 17.
Speaking at Durham, North Carolina, Mr Josephus Daniels, former Secretary of the Navy, said: “The 'Unit’d States to-day has no foreign policy not directed by the dollar. It leaves the Armenians to their fate, or it sends marines to crush liberty, and repudiates the pledge of freedom for the Filipinos. Christian bodies have no influence on the American public.”
