The meeting of the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, International Order of Good Templars, was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, King Edward street, last night. Bro. E. J. lies, Chief Templar, presided over a good attendance of members and visitors. Correspondence was received from Bro. G. Price, Grand Secretary, and Bro. T. Honeyman, international secretary. A strong committee was set up for the purpose of arranging temperance meetings during the year. The election of officers resulted :—Chief Templar, Bro. D. Holland ; vice-Templar, Sister T. Williams; Past Chief Templar, Bro. E. J. lies; secretary, Bro. J. A. Kincji (reelected) ; treasurer, Bro. J. Hilton (reelected) ; financial secretary, Sister L. Baird (re-elected); chaplain, Sister Woodcock; marshal, Sister V. Drew (re-elected); guard, Sister Cochrane (re-elected); sentinel, Bro. G. Dougal (re-elected); pianists—Sisters Morwood, Williams, and Waldren (re-elec-ted). The Star of the South Juvenile Temple met the same evening, Bro. J. Hilton, S.J.W., being in charge. There was a large attendance of members, and the election of officers was carried ■**■.'■
