ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
BUSH FELLING FATALITY. A Blenheim Association message states that the death occurred in Stafford Hospital last night of Theodore Johansen Eggers, aged fifty-one, who was injured on November 22 while bush felling in Tinline Valley, Pelorus. Eggers was employed at Bryant Brothers’ timber mill, and sustained a fractured pelvis and internal injuriei through a log rolling on him. He had been in the hospital since the accident. A LEG BROKEN.
