A VIOLENT SNOWSTORM SEVERAL DEATHS Press Associaticr,—By Telegraph—Copyright. * NEW YORK, January 28. (Received January 00, at 1 p.m.) The eastern part of the United States is gripped in a violent snow' storm, and the temperature is near zero. It is forecasted that this temperature will continue for some time. Many persons were injured in New York and 'Washington during the storm. Seven deaths are reported in Chicago and the Great Lakes region. A negro burglar, while attempting to enter a shop, was caught by a falling window and frozen to death.
