NEW POSTAGE STAMP
OBJECTION TO RUSSIAN DESIGN Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 29. (Received January 30, at 10 a.m.) The ‘Weekly Dispatch’ says that the Soviet's new postage stamp is likely to cause diplomatic friction. The Soviet territory is colored red, and includes Finland, Poland, Rumania, and Persia. The ‘Dispatch’ recalls that the San Domingo stamp of 1900 included part of Haiti in San Domingo, hut it was withdrawn on a threat ol war.—Sydney ‘ Sun ’ Cable.
