Trees named after the sixty-five members of the first Parliament of Canada elected in the province of Quebec will perpetuate their memory. Jn the chief toVvn of each of the sixty-live cities they represented there was planted on July 1, the sixtieth anniversary of Confederation, a maple tree. Each tree was named after the country’s first representative at Ottawa.
