FINE WEATHER AND A LARGE CROWD The ■weather was again hot, but tempered with a cooler breeze, for the concluding day of the Forbury Talk Trotting (Jlub’s Bummer Meeting, and the track, having been heavily watered early in the day, was in excellent order. All went off well except Wattle Patch and Deceitful and Audalie soon hit tho front from Brent Boy. They were followed past the stand by Oval, but Oval lost her position by breaking along the back. All Peters ran up behind Audalie, and took the lead just before passing the stand. _ Four lengths back came Oval. Racing down the back, All Peters opened out a three lengths lead from Audalie, which was followed by Quickfire and Peter Boy. All Peters turned for home well clear of Audalie, who was fighting it out with Quickfire. About 100yds from the po- Audalie broke, but was quickly levelled. Quickfire caught Audalie on the post aftei a short gallop. All Peters won by a length, Quickfire and Audafgi dead beating. AVattle Patch was next to finish. A good start was made, and with a round to go Kate Thorpo was showing tho way to Locanda General, Pointalena, Planet, and Granite City. Going down the back Kate Thorpo and Pointalent rl;-ew away, but Fashion Queen talena drew away, but Fashion Queen commenced a run at the turn. Entering the straight Kat Thorpe and Fashion Queen were together, and Desert Star was making up ground fast. In the run home Kate Thorpe drew away to win by a length and a-half from Fashion Queen, with Pointalena two lengths away, just ahead of Desert Star.
