The fortnightly meeting of Enterprise Lodge, No. 2. was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Kensington, on Wednesday evening, there being a good attendance of members. One candidate was initiated aS a full benefit member. It was decided to invite Otago Lodge to the next meeting to take part in a game of cards. The members discussed lodge reform, and several alterations were proposed. P.A. Bro. F. C. Johns, D.P. elect, presented to J.P.A. Bro. W. H. Workman an umbrella suitably inscribed as a token of esteem from the lodge on the occasion of his passing through the chairs for a second time. Bro. Workman suitably replied. Visitors were P.A. Bro. K. C. Johns, V.A. Bro. A. Mildenhall (Mistletoe), A.D. Bro. T. Clark (Royal Oak). P.O.P. Bro. J. Whitty (Bay Lodge). A.D. Bro. F. E. Reeves presided over the fortnightly meeting of Ivanhoe Lodge, when a fair muster of members and visitors was present. D.P. Bro. Maybee, who paid an official visit, was received with true Druidic honors. A large amount of correspondence was dealt with, and the Bards gave a very favorable report on sick members. D.P. Bro. Mavbce, assisted by M.G. Bro. Sinclair, installed P.A. Bro. J. W. T, Clark in a very impressive manner. P.A. Bro. Smith presented Bro. i-'. F. Keales with a gold medal for introducing most new members last year. Five .candidates were proposed, and will be initiated next lodge night, the officers having undertaken a membership campaign for 1928, when they hope to reach the 3uu mark. A.D. Bro. Reeves called upon the D.P. to present P.A. Bro. J. D. Sinclair with a P.A. collar and certificate for having passed through the chairs of the lodge. Bro. Sinclair expressed his thanks and gratitude to the brethren for their guts. The usual loyaF toasts were duly honored, the visitors’ toast being responded to by Bro. Maybee. The secretary was instructed to challenge the Lily of the Valley Lodge to play for the euchre shield. The lodge continued in harmony, the following contributing to the evening's entertainment:Bros. A. T. Smith, J. D. Sinclair, W. Graham, J- Clark, A. H. Mathie, C. H. Wilson, and W.'T. Gray, while Bros. J. Simmonds. J. T. .Faulds, J. Maybee, T. Borrow, A. R. Bundle, and W. Brookie interspersed recitations amidst the musical items.
