Application for the suppression of a name was refused at Hamilton, when Walter Joseph Bunting appeared before Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., on a charge of false pretences. The accused is a stock agent, late of Frankton. A remand was granted.' until' February 8, bail being fixed at one personal _ recognisance of £l5O and two sureties of £l5O each. The charge preferred against Bunting was that on November 30, 1927, at Tirau, he obtained thirty heifers and one cow from Frank Rose by false pretences, representing that he was authorised to purchase the stock by J.
