CHARGE AGAINST HICKMAN

NEW Y’ORK, January 25
When the Hickman case came on today huge crowds gathered at the Hall of Justice and threatened the accused man and his counsel. After the judge bad announced that he would assign the case to another court in an effort to satisfy those who charged him with being jfrejudiced, the police took additional precautions to guard Hickman against lynching.
