TO-DAY'S PLAY CANTERBURY SENIORS WIN BY INNINGS The boys’ matches between 1 teams representing Otago and Canterbury were continued on the Caledonian Ground this morning. The seniors concluded their innings for thus losing by an innings and 33 runs. Geddes and Knowles made a bit of a stand towards the end, but the visiting team was too strong. ■ The juniors ivere also laced witii the huge task of making over 300 to win. Scores;— SENIORS. JUNIORS. The Canterbury junior team, which had lost two wickets for 111, carried its score to 240 for five (Bull 83. Butterfield 66 not out, Grenfell 33, Joseph 19. Hercus and Anderson each took two wickets. Canterbury, having made 146 and Otago 69 in their finst innings, this left the home boys 318 to get to win. At the luncheon interval they had scored 4 runs for no wickets.
