Buyers were offering £4B for Bank of N*w South Wales, with no selling quotations. For the National Bank oi New Zealand? buyers offered £6 16s 9d, with no seller®. The National Bank of Australasia were firm to buyers at £l7 6s 6d. Union Banks were quoted ox dividend, buyers offering £l4 6s. P. and 0. (rights) buyers advanced to £27, with uo sellers. After a sale of ■Wright, Stephenson preference share® at 15« 64 the market closed with buyers at 15s 3d and a seller at 15s 9d. Now Zealand Eefrigeratings were a shade firmer, buyers offering 18s for the paid issue, with no sellers under 18s 3d. Colonial Sugar buyers offered £55, with no response. For Electrolytic Zincs (pref.) buyers offered 32s 3d, sellers 32s lOd. For the ordinary issue buyers offered 51s 6d, with a seller at 325. Sales Reported.—Bank of New Zealand, £2 19s 3d; 5i per cent.
