N.Z. SWIMMERS NOMINATED MISS MILLER GETS A PLAGE ‘ At a meeting of representatives of the New Zealand Swimming Council and of the various centres held this morning it was decided that D. P. Lindsay and L. J. Moorhouse, both of Christchurch, and Miss Kathleen Miller, of Dunedin, and Miss Ena Stockley, of Auckland, be nominated to represent New Zealand in the swimming events at the Olympic Games. Lindsay will he nominated for the men’s 400 metres and 1,500 metres free style events, Moorhouse for the men’s backstroke event. Miss Miller for the ladies’ 100 metres and 400 metres free style championships, and Miss Stockley for the ladies’ 100 metres free style event and, 100 metres backstroke event.
