A MAN’S HOLIDAY. Have you ever noticed a man packing for his vacation always takes care that he has his pipe with him? He makes sure that he packs his pipe and also plenty of the tobacco, without which his happiness would not be complete. The right tobacco he depends upon to add that last soothing, balmy touch to his comfort. Just any tobacco won’t do. Take Edgeworth, for instance. It doesn’t completely satisfy all men, or there would be only one brand on the market. But many men swear by it, and there are probably many others not smoking it who ought to be—who dr/a’t know it, and therefore have no idea that there is a tobacco that hits their taste so exactly that it might have been made for them alone. Barlow Bros., Christchurch, are the New Zealand distributors.—[Advt.] Murphy: “Did ye- hear that poor Tim Casey’s dead?” O’Flaherty: “Ye don’t say so?” Murphy: “Yes; an’ Vs left all ’e ’ad to tlie Derry Poorhctise.” O’Flaherty: “’Ow much did he lave?” MurpSy: “A. wife an’ ten children.”
