A MENACE REMOVED
SENTENCED WOMAN CREATES SCENE [Per United Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., January 26. Phyllis Back, who on Saturday escaped from the local lock-up, was recaptured yesterday, and sentenced this morning to ewelve months’ imprisonment for having no lawful visible means of support. Accused created a scene in court, and had to be forcibly removed. A lengthy record of previous convictions was detailed by the police sergeant, who described Back as a menace to society.
