DELHI, January 25. (Received January 26, at 1.10 p.m.) At the Calcutta, tea sales the average prieef or common pekoo souchong wasl 2 annas to 12 annas 6 pics; clean common broken pekoe souchang, 12 annas 3 pies to 12 annas 6 pies; even black loaf pekoe, 14 annas 6 pics to 14 annas 6 pics. The only weakness noticeable was in plain medium tannings, which ruled from 3 to 6 pics lower. For all other descriptions the market was more active than it has been lately, resulting in an upward tendency in prices. Dusts weho in strong demand at last week’s rates. Special rates; Broken orange pekoe; Common, 13 annas 6 pics; medium, 14 annas ; good, 15 annas.
