Tannock (superintendent of Dunedin reserves) went off for Wellington today by the through express. Dr R. A. Shore, who has been paying a visit to Dunedin, started to-day on his return to Wellington. Sir Alexander Roberts, of Wellington, arrived in Dunedin on .Saturday test, and will return north on Thursday. Mr- A. Noble (of Invercargill) end Messrs J W. Patten and F. Cl. Gumming (Dunedin) went to-day to Christchurch on Grand Orange Lodge business. Canon J. C. Small and bis wife and daughter were farewelled on the Dunedin railway station this morning as they entrained to oalch the Athenic and proceed to England. They expect to be away for six months. , Mr L. Walker. New Zealand manager for Lysaght, travelled to-day from Invercargill to Lyttelton on Ins way to "Wellington. Messrs W. Bryant and IV. E. Reynolds went off for Wellington to-day to attend a meeting of the Dairy Produce Board. Mr Frank Oakden, of Sydney, is revisiting Dunedin. Mrs Moss Moss, of Sydney, is now in Dunedin, having come over to see her brother, the Hon. Mark Gohen, and other relatives and friends, and proposes to stay about a. month longer in the dominion. Mr and Mrs R. D. Poison and family left (his morning by motor car on n trip through Central Otago. Die Lakes, and Mount Cook Mr Harold Riddle is at, Christchurch attending the conference of professional musicians as delegate from the Society of Musicians of Otago: also Mr and Mrs J. Leech, Mrs Mason, nnd Miss Mcda. Paine. At a meeting of the Ravensbourne Boating Club Committee last evening a, motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr P. Harridge was carried. Sir Benjamin and Lady Puller, with their two daughters, arrived from the north by motor this afternoon, and arc at the Grand Hotel. They will probably leave for Queenstown on Thursday.
