RAIDS ON BORDER VILLAGES AIR FORCE OPERATIONS. Press Association—By Telegraph -Copyright LONDON, January 14. The Basra correspondent of the ‘ Daily Express ’ reports that the Royal Air Force operations have begun against the Wahabi chief, Feisal el Dawish, who raided the border villages and slew all the males. The base of operations is Ur of the Chaldees, where more than fifty aeroplanes are assembled from Basra, Bagdad, and Mosul, under Air Commander Higgins. They' are now searching the surrounding desert daily for the marauders. Feisal’s stronghold is deserted.
