The Kamo arrived yesterday from Westport, via Timaru, and sails on Wednesday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Kurow leaves Wellington to-mor-row for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Susses was to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff, The Corinna leaves Wellington tomorrow for Dunedin. She loads out on Thursday for Timaru, Lyttelton, and New Plymouth. The Westport Coal Company’s vessel Canopus is to dock at Port Chalmers on Wednesday for her annual overhaul. She is to sail early next week for Westport. The Orient liner Orsova is set down for sailing from Sydney on February 4 for London. From Wellington via East Coast lights, the Government steamer Tutnnekai reached Auckland on Saturday. The vessel was to load stores to-day for northern lighthouses, and will resume her trip to-morrow. * THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.55 a.m. yesterday, and passengers and mails came south by the express to r day.

DEVON LEAVES ANTWERP. The Federal Line steamer Devon is reported to have sailed from Antwerp for Auckland on Tuesday. She is due about February 20. THE NORTHUMBERLAND. The Northumberland left Brisbane on Friday for Bluff, to commence loading for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The C. and D. Line has been notified by cablegram that the Port Albany (instead or the Port Hacking) will sail from New York on February 25 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. GALLIC TO LOAD. The Gallic was due at New Plymouth on Saturday to commence loading for New York, Halifax, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. The vessel will load also at Wanganui, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland, and is to sad finally from Auckland on February 9. PORT HARDY AND TURAKINA. The Commonwealth add Dominion Lino steamer Port Hardy and the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Turakina are reported to have reached Panama last Tuesday. Both vessels are en route from New Zealand to London. The Port Hardy was despatched from Auckland on December 14 and the Turakina from Wellington two days later. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. The C. and D., Line’s steamer Port Hunter left Liverpool on January 7 with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is expected at Auckland on February 16. THE PORT CAROLINE. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Caroline arrived yesterday morning from London via Panama and Lyttelton, and was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge Home erf go. The Port Caroline left London on Do comber 2 for Falmouth, where the ship’s documents were placed on board. She sailed from Falmouth on December 4, and encountered heavy westerly weather for three days. The weather then moderated, and favorable conditions were met with on the passage across the Atlantic. She arrived at Panama on December 19, and cleared the canal the following day. The vessel had a fine weather passage across the Pacific, and arrived at Lyttelton on the morning of January 11. Dean, and R. P. Owen. After discharge here the vessel will go to Bluff to complete and also to commence loading for Home. She is due at Port Chalmers for further loading about January 30.
