POLAR FLIGHT
AN ITALIAN EXPEDITION AIRSHIP ALMOST READY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 12. The Milan correspondent of 1 The Times’ reports that tho airship M 4, which will be used in a venture to the North Pole, is almost ready. It embodies improvements suggested by the Norge expedition, including light screens of wire gauze, which will prevent the air from tho screws throwing fragments of icicles forming thereon through the gas envelope. Trial flights will begin shortly.—‘ The Times.’
