BUTTER. LONDON, January 12. The butter market is dull. Choicest New Zealand salted, 156 s to 158 s; Australian, 1545; unsalted—New Zealand 160 s to 1625, Australian 1565, Danish 1745. Saturday’s flood caused damage to some hundreds of boxes of Australian butter at Hay’s wharf and Hibernia wharf. The Dairy Board’s policy only insures against fire damage in warehouses other than cold stores, consequently the loss falls on the owners of tho butter. BRADFORD TOPS. LONDON, January 12. In the Bradford tops market good business is passing, and quotations are harder all round owing to the strength of the primary markets. Quotations: 64’s, 52d; 60’s, 48d; 56’s, 39-Jd; 50’s, 29Jcl; 46’s, 24jd; 40’s, 23d. WHEAT, FLOUR, ETC. LONDON, January 12. Wheat cargoes opened steady, and occasionally advanced 3d, but closed dull at late rates. Parcels failed to attract attention. Quotations were unchanged at 51s. February-March, 51s 3d. Liverpool futures: March, 10s ,3Jd; May-July. 10s 2id; spot trade is quiet. Flour is slow and unchanged. Oats are firm, and peas and beans are quiet. LONDON, January 12. At the rabbitskin sales 3,896 bales were offered, and about 60 per cent, sold. Australian good winters were a shade firmer, and medium furriers’ sorts 5 per cent, lower.
