ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
DECENT YACHTING FATALITY. A verdict of accidental drowning was returned at the inquest on David Lander, one of the party of the yacht which capsized on Christmas Eve. The body of Donald M‘Kay, the other victim. lias not yet been _ recovered.— Wellington Press Association telegram. BODY FOUND. The body of a man was discovered in the Waikato River at Huntly to-day. Papers in his clothing indicated that the body is that of the man who jumped off the railway bridge at Hamilton into the river.—Hamilton Press Association telegram. BODY IDENTIFIED. The unknown man who was found hanging in a convenience on the Marine Parade on Sunday morning has been identified as James George Tinson, a watersider, aged about fifty-two years. It is not known if he has any relatives in New Zealand, but he is understood to have been single. He resided in Napier in 1925, hut his whereabout since then are unknown. A formal finding 'was returned at tho inquest.—Napier Press Association telegram.
