DISASTROUS EXPLOSION
EXPERIMENTING CHEMISTS KILLED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, January 8. (Received January 9, at 9.30 a.m.) A thunderous explosion apprised the citizens of Dalhlem when a villa occupied by experimenting chemists was blown up. A garage and one wing was destroyed. Two people were killed and eight injured.—A. and N.Z. and ‘ Sun ’ Cable.
