FULLERS' FOLLIES

SUCCESSFUL OPENING THIS AFTERNOON After almost a week of closed doors, the Princess Theatre was reopened this afternoon, when a new band of artists, Fullers’ Follies, presented their first programme in Dunedin before a crowded house. Individual merit was the outstanding- feature of _ the performance, which was a surprise packet of mirth and melody, entitled ‘Full o’ Pep.’ Mr Eric Masters, the producer of tho showy, is a noted English producer of musical comedies, one of his successes being ‘The O’Brien Girl.’ Plenty of amusement was put forward by _ tlie various comedians, while the delightful singing and dancing of several of the-members wore a feature of the showy tho numbers by William Beresford (baritone) and Winnie Edgorto a (soprano) being particularly pleasing. Other artists who proved decided favorites were Lula Fanning, Iris Ackwortli, and the two dancing APLeans. The “Six Dainties” arc also a big attraction, their dancing being something out of the ordinary. The show will bo repeated to-night.
