RENOWN DESERTER
ARRESTED ON THEFT CHARGE [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 25. Frederick Radford, „ who deserted from H.M.S. Renown in February last, was arrested last week for the theft of ,27s 6d from a room mate. He pleaded guilty to both offences in tho Police Court to-day, and was sentenced to seven days in gaol for theft, and then handed over to the naval authorities.
