Sir Michael Faherty, the right hand man of Mr Thompson, the Mayor of Chicago, is returning to America after studying London’s nderground system on behalf of Chicago. He says ho is thoroughly converted, and that America will nave to re-form her ideas of England. It is a marvellously prosperous country. Nothing like the Armistice celebration could possibly occur in America. Americans who clamor for the repayment of war debts should go to the battlefields. Not a penny should he paid until the war areas are rebuilt
