NEW YORK, October 27. (Received October 28, at 10 a.m.)
A message from Trinidad, Colorado, states that cheering members of the 1.W.W., led by a girl, aged seventeen, fought the mine guards in the Delagua Canyon. A dozen persons were injured, but the strikers succeeded in reaching and closing the Delagua mine, one of the largest properties in the locality. Governor Adams, fearing the rapid approach of a crisis, has ordered the national guard to be ready to advance to the mines at the first sign of serious violence.
