MR RONALD M'NEILL
TO BE RAISED TO PEERAGE. (British Official News.) Press Association—By Wireless—Copyright. RUGBY. October 26. (Received October 27, at noon.) It is understood tliat Air Ronald M'Neill, who succeeded Viscount Cecil as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, and who takes a seat in the Cabinet, will be raised to the peerage, and will speak for Ihe Foreign Office in the Blouse of Lords. It is assumed that he will also take the place of Viscount Cecil in representing Great Britain at the League of Nations. Mr M'Neill was formerly Under-Sec-retary of State for Foreign Affairs, and in that capacity spoke for the Foreign Office in the House of Commons, when Lord Cur/.on, who sat in the House of Lords, was Secretary for Foreign Affairs.
