One of Manv. [The support given by the people in New Zealand to the screening of M\ilh Cohham to Hie Capo’ has been extremely disappointing, stated Air Gladstone Hill, who is running the him and lecturing at the same time. In Christchurch, especially, (be evening attendances acre very poor. ‘‘The alluring Icatnrc in f 11ms for the public to-day seems to be ‘the eternal triangle,’ or something of Unit .sort," stated Mr Hill. His tour in New Zealand has so tar been a, financial loss, and conseijiiently picture theatre managers could not be expeeled to show the film in evening sessions. Our representative was also shown a letter ot appreciation from Air Morrell (director of the Otago Boys’ High School), who stated that lie was unable to attend the lecture, but nearly all the members ot his stall attended, and they reported that the film was excellent. The scenes were beanlilul, and the whole lecture was most interesting, and was thoroughly enjoyed by both the 171 boys and the masters.
