Scooters and Clubbers arc reminded that to-morrow the presentation oi awards to Rover Hounie and Scouts Mehalski and Dodds will take place in the Burns Hall; Scooters to report to D.S.M. PivrcU, and Cubbcrs to D.C.M. Dorman for .seatine accommodation The Cubs’ “Picture Parade, which was held at the Queen’s ihcatic on Saturday last, was attended by 2Ti Cubs. The programme was enjoyed by Tim Ocean Beach Lion Thick went lor a hike round the Boss Creek reservoir on Labor Day. , The Scout intertruop lootball anal will bo played on Saturday next at Mornington, wot or fine, loams to be on tho spot at 1.45. The roll call of tho Uoslyn Panther Pack was answered by Twenty-live boys on Wednesday last. Tho Sixers took charge, and carried on in their respective sixes. Tho latter part ol the evening was devoted to games. During the evening three hoys were presented with their athlete’s badge. The Ist Dunedin (Roslyn) Troop held its weekly parade on Friday, when, considering the incessant downpour,, there was a good muster. __ After tW fall-in tho various patrols dispersed tor natrol work. ’The Hawks did signalling and buzzer work, the Stags knottying and rope-splicing, and, under Mr CrigTi ton’s able supervision, the Bellbirds carried out stretcher-carrying and the placing of wounded on the stretcher. The Rams concentrated on tenderfoot and second-class work, while the Eagles worked.at signalling and marching. On Monday last a boxing tournament was held, in which there were several divisions. Scout J. Thomson is fly-weight champion of the troop, and Leader King, of the heavy-weights, is champion in his class. Scouter L. Smith acted as referee, and the wins were decided on points. The 4th North Dunedin Troop held its weekly parade on Friday night ,in tho George Street School Hall, thirty boys answering the roll call. The various patrols carried out their work— Seagulls, bridge building; rams, signalling; Foxes, ambulance work. During the evening a new patrol was formed under Patrol Loader P. Nicholson. A lively game was played, after which a court of honor was held to discuss the improvements of tho patrols. During the evening the troop was visited by Mesdnmes Scott, Gratton, and Wilkinson. A concert was held on Wednesday Inst, and the troop thanks all supporters and the committee for their assistance. After the concert a dance was held,.
