CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH CONCERT
Last night an entertainment of a very high .standard was given in tho United Congregational .Church, King street. The programme was arranged by Mr S. G. Angell with tho co-operation ol the Idlers’ Quartet Party and a number of well-known artists. Tho programme, which was well received by the large audience, was as follows: — Misses W. MTcak, Lucy .Runes, Mary Campbell, Messrs C. C. Scott, \\. E. Mills, and S. G. Angell. vocal solos; Messrs Scott and Angell, ducts; Mr Dl. Robilliard, ’cello solo; Mr James Flynn, elocutionary items; and Dir W. R. Sinclair, humorous sketches. Miss Dl. J [.‘Dowell ami Dir L. James, besides acting as accompanists, contributed two pianoforte duets. Tho entertainment dosed with a hearty vote of thanks to the artiste.
