MR HUDSON’S HOME
From both the utilitarian and a;sthetie viewpoints, the electrical installations in Mr Ambrose Hudson’s palatial new residence in Tweed street, Littlebourne, arc superb. There is no gaudy display of rich pretentious fittings, but an exquisite display of most serviceable and pleasant hangings. “ Don’t spoil the ship for a ha-portli of tar” is an old sailor’s saying, and Mr Hudson has followed it out. He was not going to spoil Ids beautiful home by mediocre fittings. After an extensive perusal of catalogues and much consideration of Ids own personal requirements, Mr Hudson placed an order for the importation of the fittings. Without fear of contradiction, “Hydro” can say that no home has more beautiful electric light fittings. A description of the installation will be given in next week’s notes.
