MR HUDSON’S HOUSE
PAINTING AND DECORATING WORK.
Following arc particulars that have been supplied of the painting and glazing work at Mr Ambrose Hudson’s house, Tweed street. Mr S. F. Aburu was the contractor:—
Outside ’Work.—Pacino, oiled jarrah. Sashes and doors painted with fadeless green. ’Windows glazed with British selected plate glass, fanlights glazed with British bevelled plate glass. Inside Work.—Kitchen and pantry; Walls arid ceilings finished with_ flexoJine white enamel; doors and skirtings oiled and flat varnished. Dining and meals rooms: Ceiling calconiincd white, woodwork stained in walnut and flat varnished; walls papered with English wallpapers. Dividing doors, bevelled plate glass. Billiard room: Dado and carving, stained Jacobean; ceiling stippled and blended from biscuit color to light cream. Hall: Dado and woodwork of stairs stained walnut; ceiling finished in gold, shaded and blended. Hall doors leading to drawing and billiard rooms, bevelled plate glass. Landing: Woodwork stained walnut; wails stippled and blended dark stone color to very light cream; ceiling finished in white. No. 1 Bedroom.—Woodwork finished in white enamel. Walls stippled_ and blended cream to white; ceiling finished white. No. 2 Bedroom.—Woodwork finished in white enamel; walls stippled and blended warm biscuit color to white; ceiling finished white. No. 3 Bedroom.—-Woodwork finished in white enamel; walls stippled and blended pink to white; ceiling finished white. No. 4 Bedroom.—'Woodwork finished white enamel; walls stippled and blended a warm French grey to white; ceiling finished white.
Bathroom, Lavatories, and Shower. —Walls finished in French grey enamel to match tiles; ceilings finished in white enamel.
