DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. There were no sales at this morning’s call. Union Banks were for sale at £ls 12s 6cl, with no buyers. Buyers offered 76s for National Insurances, as against 74s a. week ago. P. and 0. Deferred Stock was wanted at £275, hut the best seller stood at £286. Buyers were still offering 61s for Perpetual Trustees without selling quotations. Auckland Amusement Parks had buyers at 11s and sellers at 11s 9d. Bruce Woollens were wanted at Bs, without sellers. Holders of shares in this company have received circulars announcing an issue of 50,000 7 per cent, cumulative shares, in the proportion of one preference •share for every two ordinary shares held. There were buyers of National Electrics at 13s, with no sellers. These shares are inclined to harden. Brewery shares have eased during the week, buyers offering 47s 9d cum a dividend of Is a week aero; but this morning's quotations were: Buyers 445. sellers 465. The best buyer of Molyneux Electrics offered 18s fid, with sellers at 20s 9d. Buyers of Upper Nevis offered 22s 3d. with no sellers under 22s fid. There were sellers of 1938 and 1939 4| per cent.
