THE PUBLIC ART GALLERY.
TO TOE EDITOR. Sir,—The week-end being fine, 1 decided to visit the Art Gallery at Logan Bark, but after--trying in vain to traverse a bog where a plough which requires six horses to draw has been working for the past fortnight, I decided to postpone my visit until better conditions prevail. This state of at* fairs is a disgrace to our lair city. My object, in this letter is to lot tne public know the true state of affairs at Logan Park, and so save disappointing intending visitors. —I am, etc., July 23. Gum Coots. [Logan Park is being, transformed, and the paths are more or less cut up, but on a fine day a visitor can pick bis way to the Art Gallery without' really dirtying his boots, and he must be fastidious if he finds the road too miry even after rain.—Ed. ‘ E.S.’J
