FIRE ON STEAMER
RUTS INTO DUTCH PORT. Press Association—By Tclegrapn—Copyright LONDON, June 19. Tho steamer Essen, from Australia to Hamburg, arrived at Amsterdam with a fire burning in No. 3 hold. Despite tho efforts of the fire brigade, the outbreak is still raging. It is surmised that the fire started in tho cargo of copra. Openings nave been cut in the side of the vessel to allow of the passage of water, but a heavy list prevents flooding the hold.
OUTBREAK EXTINGUISHED.
