Despite tho efforts of the fire brigade, the outbreak is still raging. It is surmised that the fire started in tho cargo of copra. Openings nave been cut in the side of the vessel to allow of the passage of water, but a heavy list prevents flooding the hold.

OUTBREAK EXTINGUISHED.
