The London season will reach its climax this week. Among the chief social events arc the races at Ascot, the military tattoo at Aldershot, and tho International Horse Show at Olym--111 Last vear 173,000 spectators witnessed the tattoo, which js performed on behalf of military charities. . Tho International Horse Show, which opens on Thursday and lasts for nine days, is the greatest event of its kind. Many of the best riders from all parts of the world will take part, and the lumping competition for tho King George V Cun, which was won last year bv tho United States, will he competed for by officers representing Great Britain, the Irish Free State, Franco, Italy, Belgium, and Sweden.
