NEW HANDKERCHIEFS
Novelties in handkerchiefs keep pace with developments in other ' branches of fashion. The latest form, of decoration for handkerchiefs is the old sampler stitch, the colored rose design in cross-stitch at the corners being most effective. Another novelty consists of a square of colored georgette bordered with a wide piece of hand-made Breton lace (according to a ‘Morning Post’ writer). Crepe de chine handkerchiefs ore adorned round the border with hand-painted dowers, outlined in tinsel in a contrasting color.
