SOCIAL WORKERS' ASSOCIATION
DR GRIBBEN’S LECTURE Dr Gribbcn, medical officer in charge of the Mental Hospital, yesterday afternoon gave the linai of a series of lectures on ‘ Normal and _ Abnormal Psychology,’ under the auspices of the Dunedin Social Workers’ Association. The Rev. Ct. E. Moreton (chairman of tbo association) presided, and the following were present ;• —Mrs George Roberts, Mrs Elder (secretary Howard League of Penal Reform), Mrs G. E. Moreton, Sister Lillian, Sister Elinor, Miss O’Shea, and Miss Christie (child welfare department), Mr John Lock (child welfare officer), Mr F. G. Gumming (Patients and Prisoners’ Aid »Societv), Sister Kirkpatrick (Red Cross Society), Mr J. M. Gallaway, and Sister Nora (hon. secretary). A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Dr Gribbcn for his most interesting and instructive lectures, at the conclusion of which tho members entertained Dr Gribbcn at a luncheon in the Savoy, when a pleasant time was spent.
