THEATRICAL STAR ANNOYED. NEW YORK, April 28. Mae West., the star and.producer of the play, ‘Sex,’ has begun her ten days’ prison sentence for producing an immoral play. _ She is working in the gaol kitchen, and complains bitterly because she has to wear “ scratchy cotton underwear.” “No woman nowadays,” she says, wears cotton underwear. “ Why can’t the prison authorities be modern? Cotton underwear went out with the one-horse shay.”-
