A very large and representative gathering of boys from the- Anglican, boys’ clubs of the community mot last evening in the local Y.M.C.A. to witness the ‘Life and Death of Christ’ in picture form. The slides, which were the reproductions of the world’s, greatest pictures, portrayed the “story of old” beautifully. A wonderful effect was obtained when' 150 boys stood, and, facing the picture of the crucifixion, sang with great feeling the hymn, ‘When I Survey the Wondrous Cross.’ Mr K. Bond controlled the lantern, and the lecture was delivered by Mr J. Ledgerwopd.,
