“THE MIDNIGHT FROLICS”

Judging by the number of people turned away from the Princess Theatre last evening, Clem Dawe and his merry band of Frolics are providing entertainment which is proving very much to the liking of Fuller patrons. Ern Edgeley and Clem Dawe, with their never-ending supply of comedy hits, keep the house in a continual state of laughter. Clem Dawe, besides appearing in all the comedy sketches, renders several comic songs, and he plays first saxophone in the Frolics’ jazz band. The band this week renders the overture from ‘William Tell,’ by Rossini, and the performance it gives is really remarkable. Alex. Regan renders some really good songs, and in this department ho is ably assisted By Oscar Beck. Les. White, Violet Lester, and Nell M'Guire. Gregory Ivanoff, a violinist of outstanding ability, plays ‘ Fantasy ’ {‘ Carmen ’) and ‘ Killarney ’; while Phyllis Amery’s dancing is excellent. The whole show is one well worth seeing.
