FASHIONS FOR MEN
KfAHV CHANGES THIS. WINTER
Tliis coming winter’s fashions for mon will reveal many changes from those of last year. When approached by an ‘ Evening Starrepresentative yesterday, the manager of one of the leading_ men’s wear shops gave some information regarding the modes for this year. Shirts, lie said, will be mostly colored grounds of blue, heliotrope, and fawn, with stiff collars to match; and double cuffs on the shirts will be popular. The manager said that the suits that will be in demand will be of blue-grey anl plum shades. The trousers will be worn longer and slightly wider than last year, and many of the coats will be double-breasted. There will be no alteration in the stylo of vests. Three kinds of overcoats—the Raglan (full back), the Prince shape (half belt), and the plain waisted backs —will bo in evidence on the streets. The range of colors will be entirely different from the old style grey tweed garment. There is every indication that the lastnamed coat will be the most fashionable.
The hat that is being asked for by many buyers is the one that can bo turned down a little in front. The turned-down-all-round hat, as worn by the Duke of York on bis recent visit, lias not yet been in demand. Designs on socks and ties will bo about the same as previous years.
